India’s ophthalmologists have reported a 10-15% increase in the number of people receiving outpatient care for ocular diseases each year.

India’s extensive disease and treatment-naïve populations coupled with our network of research sites provide substantial patient access for FDA-regulated global trials. ISS is affiliated with more than 80 ophthalmologists seeking to conduct additional clinical trials for the many diseases that can lead to blindness, including cataracts, dry eye, anterior uveitis, refractive errors, glaucoma, necrotizing retinosis, and corneal pathology. Our ophthalmologists treat an average of 1,100 cases per month, with a steady increase of new patients.
